On Monday, the interior ministers
of Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia will meet in Nova Gorica to
discuss migration management and internal security. According to
a press release from the Interior Ministry in Ljubljana, the
meeting is part of a long-standing format that allows for the
exchange of information on the situation along the Western
Balkans migration route and the main security challenges they
face. On the sidelines of the event, the general directors of
the three countries' police forces will sign a memorandum of
understanding outlining the method for carrying out joint
trilateral patrols along Croatia's external border.
