Istat said Friday that its industrial
production index edged up 0.1% in March with respect to
February.
But the national statistics agency added that industrial
production was down by 1.8% compared to March 2024.
Consumer association Codacons pointed out that this was the 26th
consecutive month in which industrial production had declined in
year-on-year terms.
