Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama
has announced that an agreement will be signed by Italy,
Albania, and the United Arab Emirates on the sidelines of the
Sustainability Week summit in Abu Dhabi, to establish an
infrastructure for the production and transportation of
renewable energy from Albania to Italy.
"The value of the infrastructure is around one billion
euros," Rama told the Italian press before the summit, which is
also attended by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. It will be
operational in three years at most.
