Over 2.4 million Italian television
viewers, with a peak audience share of 12.1%, tuned in to watch
Pope Francis' exclusive interview to TV talk-show host Fabio
Fazio on his show Che Tempo Che Fa (CTCF) on the Nove channel on
Sunday and the first television interview to journalist Cecilia
Sala since her release in Iran earlier this month.
The TV show in which the pontiff spoke about the ceasefire in
Gaza and Donald Trump's second mandate as US president and Sala
discussed her 21 days in Tehran's Evin prison made Nove the
second most-watched network of the evening after Rai1 which
broadcast the TV show Mina Settembre 3, watched by 4.3 million
viewers, the equivalent of 24.2% of the audience share for the
evening.
Che Tempo Che Fa had previously recorded a peak share of 14.2%,
with 3.4 million viewers, when Fazio interviewed the pontiff in
January last year while another three million, or 14% of the
share, had tuned in to watch the host ispeak to influencer
Chiara Ferragni in March last year.
