The Pope appeared at the window of
the Apostolic Palace for the Angelus prayer Sunday without the
light brace on his arm that he had been wearing for the past few
days, following a contusion he had suffered in a fall at Casa
Santa Marta, the Vatican hostel where he lives.
During the speech, in which he hailed the Gaza truce, Francis
also gesticulated, showing that the issue seems to have been
overcome.
However, the Pontiff's voice remained hoarse and sounded a
little tired.
