Thanks to the support of 33
million euros from the cohesion policy, the citizens of the
agglomerations of the Croatian Adriatic coast of Novi
Vinodolski, Crikvenica and Selce will benefit from better
wastewater collection and treatment, the EU Commission announced
today. Currently, this area suffers from significant water
losses, while the maintenance of the sewerage network is
hampered by illegal connections to rainwater."
