The Italian Resistance is not a
fetish but a responsibility, President Sergio Mattarella said
Wednesday.
The WWII combatant associations play a valuable role in keeping
the memory alive "not as a fetish consigned to memory only" but
as civil awareness and "daily responsibility, he said receiving
the combatant and weapon associations at the Quirinale.
"Let's honor the protagonists of those events".
