Premier Giorgia Meloni said Friday
she had no problems with League leader and Deputy Premier Matteo
Salvini, Forza Italia (FI) leader and Deputy Premier Antonio
Tajani, or the Berlusconia media company Mediaset after she
split from her Mediaset-employed partner Andrea Giambruno after
another show on the network broadcast off-air sleazy remarks in
which he spoke of threesomes and foursomes and apparently
admitted an affair.
The media had speculated that Meloni might be irked at Mediaset,
the late Silvio Berlusconi's FI, or Salvini over the affair.
"I have no problem either with Salvini or Tajani or with
Mediaset," Meloni told a press conference after an EU summit in
Brussels.
"The government has relations with Mediaset as are normal with a
major company".
