The Italian Embassy in Georgia, in cooperation with the Kolga Photo Festival in Tblisi, is presenting an exhibition of photographs by Mario Lasalandra. The exhibition, titled 'Poets, Masks, Actors, Ghosts', curated by Paola Lasalandra, has the structure of a retrospective that traces almost 50 years of artistic experimentation and is composed of more than 150 images taken in black and white from 1962-2011. The opening of the exhibition will be accompanied by a reinterpretation of the surreal performance 'Magico Carnevale', conceived and realised by the photographer in the years 2003-2013. The exhibition will open on 3 May in the Zurab Tsereteli Museum of Modern Art and close on 13 June.
