To celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Italy and Mozambique, the Italian Embassy in Maputo has decided to organise a high-level promotional event called 'MozIta50'.
'Since the beginning,' reads the Embassy's website, 'the deep bond between the two countries has been built on the encounter between people, through dialogue, friendship and help. The planned events intend to testify and strengthen this closeness, creating new moments of sharing and exchange, involving art, music, language and culture. mozIta 50' aims to give the large Mozambican audience the best that Italy is capable of creating, while also fostering exchanges and contacts between artists, promoters and entrepreneurs. To do this, we will also make use of an intense communication activity on social networks and traditional media in both countries. A review that wishes to illuminate Italy between the public and private sectors, and between the cultural and entrepreneurial spheres, with a view to an effective integrated promotion'.
