The Italian Institute of Culture in Moscow is presenting, on 12 April as part of the spring fair of intellectual literature 'Non\fiction', three of the books published in Russia with a translation contribution from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The first is Claudio Sicolo's book 'Umberto Nobile and 'Italy' at the North Pole', about the famous airship builder and fascinating Arctic explorer, published by the publisher 'Paulsen'.
In addition to the author, the presentation was attended by Arctic cultural heritage researcher Pavel Filin, development director of the 'Voice of the North' Association Yana Shklyarskaya, and editor-in-chief of 'Paulsen' Raisa Neyaglova-Kolosova.
The second presentation concerns Bianca Pitzorno's work 'Woman with a Book' published by the 'Azbuka-Atticus' Publishing Group and is attended by translator Andrei Manukhin and Italianist Anna Jampol'skaya.
Finally, the Italian Institute of Culture in cooperation with the publishing house "Gorodets" present the new book 'Il Sole di Boris' by Roberto Piumini, author of books for adults and children, one of the best known contemporary Italian authors.
Participants include Roberto Piumini, the illustrator Natalia Aleksandrova, the translator Mikhail Vizel and the Italianist Anna Jampol'skaya.
