The Italian Embassy in San Marino and the San Marino Secretariat of State are organising a bilateral conference on 20 March on 'Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Education. Italy and San Marino: experiences and best practices in line with European and international standards'.
The conference will provide the opportunity for a reconnaissance of the regulatory framework in the two countries, and between the two countries, on the subject of anti-money laundering, focusing on the dynamic nature of the challenges in this area and on the prospects for cooperation on a regulatory and operational level. All this, against the backdrop of European legislation and the opportunities, but also the challenges, brought about by the development and constant change of technologies.
