Ambassador Marco Ricci presented to the President of São Tomé and Principe, Carlos Vila Nova, the Letters of Credence accrediting him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Principe.
During the cordial conversation with the Sao Tome and Principe Head of State, the main topics of bilateral interest were discussed, and Ambassador Ricci highlighted to his interlocutor the potential of the Mattei Plan for Africa and emphasised the contribution of the Italian community to the growth of the country's economic fabric.
