Carlo Conti, the host of the
Sanremo Festival for the third consecutive year, has chosen a
bouquet of flowers as metaphor for the 22 musicians that will be
performing at the Ariston on February 7-11.
There will be both the young and old, with slightly more men
than women.
Conti said that Al Bano would be among the stars, despite
suffering a heart attack a few days ago, as would Fiorella
Mannoia, Ron, Marco Masini, Michele Zarrillo, Gigi D'Alessio,
Paola Turci and Giusy Ferreri.
Given the long list, Conti has split performances over two
nights and decided not to have all of them perform.
Others include Samuel, Nesli with Alice Paba, and the rapper
Raige with Giulia Luzi, Clementino, Francesco Gabbani and Ermal
Meta, Bianca Atzei and Lodovica Comello.
