A Milan appeals court on Friday
acquitted the former president of Tuscan bank Monte dei Paschi
di Siena (MPS) Giuseppe Mussari, ex general manager Antonio
Vigni, and Deutsche Bank AG, its London branch and Nomura, in a
case linked to structured financing between 2008 and 2012 to
cover losses from the acquisition of Antonveneta.
The case regarded alleged irregularities in the Alexandria,
Santorini, Chianti Classico and Fresh structuring operations.
Seizures totalling some 150 million euros were revoked.
