The youth street partying called
'movida' seen in many Italian cities without social distancing
or often facemasks at the weekend is irresponsible, a top health
expert said Monday.
"The movida is behaviour that in certain situations and
conditions becomes irresponsible, I don't think we can describe
it in any other way," said Milan's Sacco Hospital infectious
diseases chief Massimo Galli.
"It's not time to do these things even in phase three when
many restrictions have been relaxed," he said.
He said that some new hotspots linked to imprudent conduct
had already been seen.
