Aerospace and defence giant Leonardo
closed 2024 with a 16.2% growth in revenues to 17.8 billion
euros (+11.1% compared to the proforma data), according to the
preliminary results approved by the board of directors Thursday.
The group formerly known as Finmeccanica, explains a note, has
recorded "an increase in almost all business sectors" and
results are "higher than or in line with the 2024 guidance".
"The contribution of defense and security electronics is
particularly significant, both in the European component and, in
particular, in the US component, and in the helicopters
business", a note reads.
EBITA rose to 1,525 million (+12.9% compared to the 2023
proforma).
