Cardinal Virgilio do Carmo da Silva,
the Archbishop of Dili in East Timor, said prelates have not yet
come up with the list of possible names of the next pope on the
way into the last general congregation of cardinals on Tuesday
before the Conclave starts on Wednesday.
"Not yet, maybe tomorrow," do Carmo da Silva said when asked if
there was a shortlist of contenders.
"We are listening to the situations of the Church in every part
of the world".
When asked if the Conclave would be long, he replied: "I don't
know".
Most of the other cardinals remained silent as they made their
way to the congregation.
