The partner of a Salvadorean baby
sitter who went missing in Milan last month has been arrested
and charged with her murder, police said Friday.
Pablo Gonzalez Rivas, 48, partner of Jhoanna Nataly Quintanilla
Valle, 40, who disappeared from her home in the Bicocca area of
;;Milan on the night between 24 and 25 January, has been
detained on charges of premeditated murder and illegal disposal
of a body.
The arrest warrant was issued after the man was summoned to the
Milan Public Prosecutor's Office for questioning, in which he
availed himself of the right to remain silent.
Goinzalez Rivas reported his partner's allegedly voluntary
departure a week after she went missing.
