AS Roma on Monday notched their third
consecutive win since Daniele De Rossi replaced Jose Mourinho as
coach last month, thrashing third-from-bottom Cagliari 4-0 at
the Stadio Olimpico.
Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini touched home from close range soon
after kick-off to set the hosts on their way, Argentina forward
Paulo Dybala scored twice, including a strike from the penalty
spot, and teenager Dean Huijsen headed home to seal the win.
The victory keeps fifth-placed Roma one point behind
fourth-placed Atalanta and in contention for a top-four finish
and a place in next season's Champions League.
