The players that brought Italy its
first David Cup victory in 48 years showed an extraordinary team
spirit, President Sergio Mattarella told the team led by Jannik
Sinner and Matteo Berrettini and captained by Filippo Volandri
at the presidential palace in Rome Thursday.
"A special greeting to you all, protagonists of the Davis Cup,"
he said welcoming them to the Quirinale.
"Congratulations also to Berrettini, to the captain Volandri,
good at arousing that extraordinary team spirit, for the ability
to transmit serenity and concentration".
