Italy's Florian Schieder finished
second in the men's downhill race of the FIS Alpine Skiing World
Cup in Kitzbühel, Austria, the first this season on the
legendary Streif slope.
The South Tyrolean from Kastelruth came in after Frenchman
Cyprien Sarrazin.
Schieder also finished second on the same 3,312 m course in
2023, but wearing bib number 43.
Also for Italy, Dominik Paris finished in sixth place.
