Novelist Susanna Tamaro, physicist
and science writer Carlo Rovelli and philosopher Stefano Zecchi
will be the faces of Italy when it is the guest of honour at the
2024 Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse - FBM).
Mauro Mazza, the Italian government's extraordinary commissioner
for FBM 2024, said the trio would be representing Italy at the
opening ceremony of the world's biggest book fair on October 15,
2024.
"We are preparing the schedule for Italy's participation," said
Mazza.
"There will be between 80 and 100 Italian writers.
"The architect Stefano Boeri is working on the Italian
pavilion".
