Italy must implement quickly a
competition reform approved last year, the Organisation for
Economic Cooperation and Development said Tuesday.
Italy must "foster competition, in particular, in the services
sector, ensuring a rapid implementation of the competition
reform approved in 2022," said the latest OECD report 'Objective
Growth' 2023, presented in Brussels by the Secretary general of
the OECD, Mathias Cormann.
In particular, the report pointed out, the reform aims to
encourage women's participation in the labour market.
Italian businesses have been crying out for the reform.
