Italy's Simona Quadarella won the
silver medal in the 1500m freestyle at the world swimming
championships on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old from Rome, who won gold in the event in 2019,
finished behind American star Katie Ledecky.
"This medal means a lot, I hadn't got one for four years and
since then I wanted to get this 1500m back and I did it," she
said after the race at Fukuoka in Japan.
