Sophia Loren on Tuesday read out a message dedicated to the late Gina Lollobrigida saying "Dear Gina your body has did but the light of your star will shine on us and in our hearts forever".
Loren, 88, said she had been too affected by grief to say more
than she was deeply shaken on Monday, the day her longtime rival
for the title of Italy and the world's biggest sex symbol died
at the age of 95.
"I love you Gina! Sophia", read the end of the message.
"The words wouldn't come yesterday, I was too saddened", said
Loren.
