ANSA'a annual photo-book was presented in Rome Monday, a collection of images spanning the COVID pandemic, rockets in Gaza and Israel, the Taliban's return, Italian success at Eurovision, the Olympics and the Euros, and Premier Mario Draghi's steady hand on the tiller in helping things "go a little better", as ANSA President Giulio Anselmi said in his introduction.
The book was presented at Rome's MAXXI modern art gallery in front of an audience of representatives of the cultural, political, economic and sporting worlds including Italy's Olympic and Paralympic champs and Azzurri boss Roberto Mancini.
The book also chronicles, among other things, a rise in femicide in Italy, a phenomenon which recently spurred fresh government action.
