The government's spa bonus in the 2022
budget bill will spur a 200 million euro turnover boost in the
sector, CNA Turismo e Commercio business group said in a survey
ANSA released Monday.
This will come from some 260,000 more tourists and their 500,000
overnight stays in Italy's spas, the survey said.
The regions that will see the biggest economic benefits from the
boom will be Campania, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Veneto, Lazio,
Lombardy, Trentino Alto Adige, Sicily and Calabria, the survey
said.
The bonus consists of an up to 100% discount on purchasing
selected spa services, for a maximum cost of 200 euros.
