(ANSAmed) - ROME, MAY 4 - Italian news agency ANSA and Tunisian news agency TAP are aiming to strengthen their partnership through a conference to be held on May 10 in Tunis on the new challenges for multimedia news platforms and online newspapers.
The conference, titled "The Future and the Challenges in Bilateral Relations and Cooperation Between Italy and Tunisia", will also host discussions on the role of the European Union in the Mediterranean region and partnership opportunities for the two countries in business and agrifood.
Among those scheduled to attend the conference are: European Parliament Vice President David Sassoli, Italian Ambassador to Tunisia Raimondo De Cardona, Italian Undersecretary for Agricultural Policy Giuseppe Castiglione, Tunisian Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Sabri Bach Tobji, Tunisian Civil Society and Human Rights Minister Mahdi Ben Gharbia, ANSA CEO Giuseppe Cerbone, and TAP CEO Lotfi Arfaoui.
The event is being co-sponsored by the Italian and Tunisian Foreign Ministries, while the media partnership has been entrusted to ANSAmed and TAP with the cooperation of Tunisair.(ANSAmed).
