Karina Huff, a British actress who appeared in two highly popular Italian romantic comedies in the 1980s, has died in London aged 55 after a battle with breast cancer, a family friend posted on Facebook Monday.
Born in London, Huff first gained notoriety in Italy as a
showgirl and a TV presenter on RAI public broadcaster and Canale
5.
She later appeared in a series of successful teen comedy
films, notably Carlo Vanzina's Time for Loving, its sequel
Sapore di Mare 2, and Vacanze di Natale (Christmas Holidays) -
all released in 1983.
