Italy won the bronze medal on
Tuesday in the women's 3,000 metres short-track relay at the
Winter Olympics in Sochi.
It is the Azzurri's sixth medal of the Games and the third
for team member Arianna Fontana, who also took the women's
1,500-metre individual short-track event and silver in the 500m.
Italy finished Tuesday's race in fourth place but were
bumped up after China, who finished second, were disqualified
for a penalty on the last lap.
South Korea won gold and Canada took silver.
Italian skier Christof Innerhofer won two of Italy's
medals: silver in the men's downhill and bronze in the super
combined.
Armin Zoeggeler took bronze in the luge.
