"We must clarify what our
objectives are in Ukraine because a peacekeeping mission is one
thing, monitoring or deterrence is another: the various
countries have different sensitivities on this point," said EU
High Representative Kaja Kallas upon arrival at NATO, adding
that discussions with the US can then take place based on the
objectives. "We are working to keep the US on our side; peace in
Europe is in America's best interests."
