The European Commission
reaffirmed its strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's
sovereignty, unity, and European future amid rising tensions
following the sentencing of nationalist Bosnian Serb leader
Milorad Dodik. Commission spokesperson Anouar El Anouni called
on all political actors to avoid provocative and divisive
rhetoric, urging them to respect the country's territorial
integrity. The statement came in response to Dodik's one-year
prison sentence and six-year ban from holding public office,
which has further strained Bosnia's fragile political landscape.
