"Peace cannot be Ukraine's
surrender; it must be freedom, independence, and the restoration
of international law," said Franco Dal Mas, Secretary General of
the Central European Initiative (CEI), during a meeting in
Tirana with Albania's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs,
Igli Hasani.
During the meeting with Hasani, the main topics on the CEI
agenda were discussed, such as European integration promotion,
regional cooperation, the situation in Ukraine, sustainable
development, and CEI strengthening. Dal Mas also congratulated
Albania on successfully completing its CEI presidency in 2024.
