Germany's manufacturing sector ended
2024 on a disappointing note, with a drop in production and
orders, so the Germany Manufacturing Pmi index in December falls
to 42.5 (it was 43 in November), the lowest level in three
months. "Growth expectations for goods producers remained muted
and even weakened slightly from the previous month, reflecting
political uncertainty and concerns about the German economy,"
S&P analysts comment.
