Serbian Orthodox Patriarch
Porfirije, at the invitation of the Patriarch of Moscow and All
Russia Kirill, went to Moscow where he will be awarded an
honorary degree in theological sciences. According to Serbian
media, Porfirije arrived in Moscow yesterday evening,
accompanied by a delegation of high-ranking prelates from the
Serbian Orthodox Church, and was greeted by Russian Church
representatives and the Serbian ambassador to Moscow, Momcilo
Babic.
