"We are deeply concerned about the
disruption of parliamentary work and the violence in Serbian
parliament. Marta Kos, European Commissioner for Enlargement,
stated in a tweet that Parliament must be a forum for democratic
debate in the interests of all citizens and must carry out its
responsibilities fully.
"The recent developments in Serbia that have targeted civil
society organisations are extremely concerning," she added.
