Ursula von der Leyen is preparing to visit the Western Balkans next week for a mission that will take her through all six countries.
On Wednesday, she will stop in Tirana to meet with Prime Minister Edi Rama and attend the College of Europe campus's inauguration.
On Thursday, she will
meet with Albanian President Bajram Begaj before embarking on an
institutional tour of North Macedonia and a visit to Bosnia and
Herzegovina's flooded areas. On Friday, the president will visit
Serbia to continue political and institutional meetings, and on
Saturday, she will conclude her tour by visiting Kosovo and
Montenegro.
