Czechs lack confidence in the
future and avoid making long-term plans. Almost 80% believe that
the world is experiencing the greatest period of uncertainty
since 1989, with the gradual demise of communist regimes in
Central and Eastern Europe, and only one-third believe that
future generations will live in a better world than the current
one. These are two of the key findings of an April survey
conducted by the Ipsos agency, as reported by Czech Radio.
