The Italian Interior Minister
Matteo Piantedosi has arrived in Nova Gorica (Slovenia) for a
trilateral meeting with Slovenian counterparts Boštjan Poklukar
and Croatian counterparts Davor Božinović.
The meeting will discuss the three countries' joint
activities in migration management and internal security, with a
focus on the Balkan route. According to the programme, the three
countries' Interior Ministries and Police Forces will agree on a
path forward. On the sidelines, the three countries' chief
police officers will sign an operational memorandum of
understanding to agree on the details of implementing joint
trilateral patrols along Croatia's external border.
