Premier Giorgia Meloni said going
into a meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House
Thursday that she was certain they could forge an agreement
between the US and the European Union on tariffs.
Answering a question on the reciprocal tariffs, Meloni said: "I
am sure that an agreement can be reached.
"I would like to invite President" Trump "to make an official
visit to our country and we would like to organize a meeting
with Europe," she went on.
