Italy is working to make sure that
Palestinian-Italian student Khaled El Qaisi can return to Italy
after his release from an Israeli jail, his Italian university,
La Sapienza of Rome, said Sunday.
"We learn with relief the news of the release of our student
Khaled El Qaisi," the Rector of La Sapienza, Antonella Polimeni,
told ANSA.
"We trust in the constant activity of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and International Cooperation so that Khaled can return
to Italy as soon as possible."
