Puglia's iconic Notte della Taranta
dance and music group helped mark the new Year at the Italian
pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020 on Friday.
The frenzied rhythms and joyful music of the tradional 'pizzica
rang out under the equally iconic cupola of the Al Wasl Plaza,
played by the Orchestra Popolare.
"Puglia and the Emirates are "two very close places thanks to a
tradition that connects a lot of things", said organizers.
