The search resumed Tuesday for
Daniele Nardi and Tom Ballard, the Italian and British climbers
missing since February 24 on Nagna Parbat.
A search party including Spaniards Alex Txikon and Felix
Criado and Pakistanis Alì Sadpara and Ramat Ullah Baig set off
to sweep the area as far as the pair's Camp 3, also using
drones, Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Stefano Pontecorvo told
reporters.
"I'm grateful for such a talented team of climbers," he said.
On Monday Txikon and Criado checked Camp Two, buried by an
avalanche, where they found some of Nardi and Ballard's personal
effects.
The pair had been attempting a rare winter ascent of the
Killer Mountain.
