NATO has witnessed columns of Russian military equipment and Russian combat troops cross the Ukrainian border, the commander of the organisation's forces in Europe, Philip Breedlove, said Wednesday.
"In the last two days we observed the same movements
reported by OCSE.
Russian tanks, Russian artillery, Russian air
defence systems and Russian combat troops entering Ukraine"
Breedlove stated.
Russia denied the reports. General Igor Konashenkov,
spokesperson for Russian ministry of defence said NATO
accusations were "unfounded".
