Pope Francis said Sunday from his Rome
hospital bed where he is battling pneumonia that was seemed even
more absurd from here.
The pope, in the written text of the Angelus, let it be known
that in these days he is praying "above all for peace.
"From here the war appears even more absurd.
"Let us pray for the tormented Ukraine, for Palestine, Israel,
Lebanon, Myanmar, Sudan, Kivu", was the appeal of the Pontiff
released by the Vatican press office.
