AC Milan tightened their grip on
third place in Serie A when they beat Jose Mourinho's AS Roma
3-1 at San Siro on Sunday thanks to goals by Yacine Adli,
Olivier Giroud and Theo Hernandez.
The visitors were on the score-sheet thanks to Leandro Paredes'
69th minute penalty.
Milan have 42 points from 20 games, nine behind leaders Inter,
who thrashed Monza 5-1 on Saturday, and eight more than
fourth-placed Fiorentina, who drew 2-2 at home with Udinese on
Sunday.
The top four in Serie A qualify for next season's Champions
League.
Lazio are fifth with 33 points after they beat Lecce 1-0 at home
to continue their good form.
Roma are four points further back in ninth.
