Hellas Verona lost 1-3 to AC Monza in
their 11th day home match in Italy's Serie A premier league
tournament on Sunday.
Team coach Marco Baroni made no excuses for the defeat.
"The attitude in the first half was wrong. I apologise to the
fans," he said.
"The team works hard during the week, but today we got our
attitude wrong and at the first difficulty we got lost,"
continued Baroni.
Monza "were more ferocious than us and this cannot be part of
our DNA. This is a problem I need to solve, together with the
boys. Defeat is possible, but not with this attitude, especially
in the first half," he concluded.
