Italy's women's soccer team got a new
coach Friday as Andrea Soncin replaced Milena Bertolini.
Former Venezia caretaker coach Soncin, 45, from Vigevano,
previously had a long playing career as a journeyman in mostly
Serie D, C and B sides.
Bertoòomi had been in charges since 2017 and led Italy to their
first World Cup in twenty years in 2019.
Soncin's assistant will be Viviana Schiavi, a former Azzurra who
has been in the Italy set-up since 2017.
