Italy's Filippo Ganna on Sunday
qualified for the gold-medal final in the individual pursuit
track-cycling event at the world championships in Glasgow with
the best time (4:01.344).
He will face Britain's Daniel Bigham in the final.
Ganna's team mate Jonathan Milan will take on Portugal's Ivo
Oliveira in the bronze-medal race after clocking the third-best
time.
Ganna and Milan were part of the Italian quartet that took
silver in the ,team pursuit event on Saturday, along with
Francesco Lamon and Manlio Moro.
